Shanna Burkholder’s practice focuses on large exposure casualty losses and litigation. Prior to joining Cannon & Nelms, Ms. Burkholder’s practice focused on litigating insurance coverage and bad faith claims in both state and federal court. Ms. Burkholder spent four years representing national insurance companies in litigation and five years working as a law clerk for a firm representing insureds in litigation.
Ms. Burkholder attended the University of La Verne College of Law on a full Dean’s Merit Scholarship, obtaining her juris doctorate in 2010 and graduating Magna Cum Laude. Prior to earning her juris doctorate, Ms. Burkholder obtained her bachelor of arts in politics and economics in 2003 from Scripps College in Claremont, California.
Ms. Burkholder is admitted to practice law in California and the United States District Courts for the Central, Eastern and Southern Districts of California.
