Julia A. Mouser
Julia Mouser has more than twenty years’ experience in the areas of business and insurance litigation. Over the last twenty years, Ms. Mouser has served as second-chair in more than twenty jury trials. Ms. Mouser is a tenacious and effective litigator who possesses formidable pre-trial discovery skills. Ms. Mouser is responsible for two significant published decisions in the field of insurance defense: Cummings v. Farmers Insurance Exchange (1988) 202 Cal.App.3d 1407 and Velasquez v. Truck Insurance Exchange (1991) 1 Cal.App.4th 712. These cases resulted in favorable holdings for insurers on issues related to the material misrepresentation provisions of homeowners’ insurance policies and the statutory one-year suit limitation. Ms. Mouser has decades of experience in both pre-trial and trial-related matters involving insurance bad faith.
